Winner!

I have a winner to announce today! Thanks to everyone who commented on my previous post spotlighting With a Name like Love, the debut novel of author Tess Hilmo. And the winner of her very own copy of With a Name like Love is Anne Kenny! Congratulations, Anne!

And once again I am changing my blogging schedule. The good news is that I'm finally done outlining my newest wip! (((throws confetti))) I've started working on the rough draft and it feels soooo good to be writing again! But my goal is a scene a day, and that's taking up most of my free time. So from now on, aside from the occasional blogfest or special blogging event, I'll be posting only on Tuesdays to make more time for rough-drafting. Don't you just hate when writing gets in the way of blogging? :)

So, how's your writing coming? What are you working on right now?

Absolutely! LOL I've been resetting my goals and redoing my blog schedule too.

I like the scene a day idea. That sounds doable.

This book seems to be everywhere. I'm definitely adding it to my list to purchase.

For me the blogging is getting in the way of writing other stuff. My fault! Maybe NaNo will inject some new fervor in my novel writing.
Good luck with your novel.

Congratulations to Anne, and to you too, for finishing the outline and on to the next step of your writing process. My writing currently is dedicated only to blog posts recently (darn day job!) but I am reading an excellent book on writing that is helping me feel motivated to didicate time to work on my WIP's again.

Good for you, getting your priorities straight. Right now I need to stop reading blogs and go work on my WiP! I'm on my second draft and almost done. 10,000 more words to go!

Have fun rough drafting!

Congratulations to Anne! :)

I'm trying to finish my current novel before NaNoWriMo--I'm so close. I think I might just get it done before the 20th, which would give me more time to outline the novel I plan to write for NaNo.

Starting something new is always fun! I'm still editing. Wish there were more hours in the day.

Congrats to Anne!

Lucky thing. It sounds a good book :)

Lucky Anne! Congratulations to her.

And hurray for you! Finishing the outlining is huge. (throws more confetti) I've found that blogging only once a week really does buy me more writing time. There just aren't enough hours in the day sometimes.

Happy writing!

You and I are in about the same spot. I've started my outline and the prologue and first chapter, but my outline is far from complete because I kind of half-outline, half-fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants.

Congrats, Anne!

Congratulations on finishing that job and here's more confetti to add to your celebration.

I see you're a Planner. Guess you wouldn't be interested in joining our SemiPantser group, right?

Got to go back to work. Am doing my last go through of my manuscript. It's been marinating long enough.

I'm glad your outlining is done. Yay! Best of luck drafting--I'm revising for a cool friend of mine. :o)

Congrats to Anne :)

And well done you! I'm writing a short story for my daughter, starring her and her pet chicken of course. When my boy realised it was about his sister he went into a major sulk. So the next story is his. Monsters are a must apparantly. haha

Congrats Anne! Congrats to you too, Susan, sounds like you're making great progress with your WIP. Lately I've been concentrating on research and reading and more research and more reading.

Congrats to Anne--and to you, too! That's great about your WIP! I'm playing with a new idea and in the early stages of outlining. Outlining is my least favorite part, but I am a total plotter and I love having a strong outline to follow.
