Hello Again

Hi Everyone!

It's so good to be back!

My kids were off school Monday, so I actually forgot to post on Tuesday. Duh. But that's okay, because I've decided to switch my blogging day to Fridays to work better with my school schedule. And yes, I finally started school this week! I feel like I've been waiting forever to get started on this. I only have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, so I've only been one day so far because of the holiday, but I think I'm really going to enjoy it! Except for all the homework - wow! I don't remember there being so much when I did this college thing twenty-some years ago. I've probably just blocked it out, though. :)

As far as my writing, The Legend of Payne Manor is out to critique partners for what I hope will be the final round of critiques before it's ready to query - yay! Now I'm fine tuning the query, which I thought was done, but of course when I went back to fine tune I changed most everything and now it's a big mess again. Oh well, hopefully each revision makes it stronger.

I can't wait to get out there and catch up with all your blogs today. So what have I missed? What's new with you? And how is your writing coming?

Hey Susan! I can't imagine going back to college now. Good for you for doing it.
Your query sounds like my synopsis. Hopefully we'll both end up with something good.

Ooh, that's good. You've really making progress.

I haven't been able to do any writing. But I'm hoping Feb 1st to start something new.

I went back to college for my MA after the kids were in school. I've never regretted it and my kids and I did our homework together, so there was lots of time as well as frustration we shared. Great memories.

Welcome back. You were missed.

Wow! School and writing. Good luck with both. Although, with all of the work you put into it, I doubt that you need much luck!

All the best! Looks like you're mighty busy!

Fridays are good days! Well, those said critique partners are blown away, so I think you can rest assured you're probably on your last round of revisions before querying. You are amazing!

Honestly, I stayed up until 1 am last night finishing the ms. The last time I did that with a book was, oh... the fourth HP book. It was that gripping!

Anyway, if you need help with the query, let me know. Big hugs and congratulatory knuckle bumps.

Now get back to your homework.... :o)

Congratulations on (hopefully) being at the final round of edits on The Legend of Payne Manor.

And good luck with school. It was a shock to go back into the routine when I enrolled in the fall of 2011. I did it. So can you!

What am I up to? I'm about to have my YA manuscript SS go to a 3rd reader. It's coming along.
