BooKrushed 2011 Reading Challenge Results

At the beginning of 2011, I decided to participate in the BooKrushed 2011 Reading Challenge by reading 11 books published in 2011. I know a lot of you read way more than I do, but I did finish the challenge so I thought I'd give myself a pat on the back. :)

Here are the 11 books I read:
1.  Across the Universe by Beth Revis
2.  Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting
3.  Delirium by Lauren Oliver
4.  The Liar Society by Lisa and Laura Roecker
5.  The Hating Game by Talli Roland (paperback release in 2011)
6.  Possession by Elana Johnson
7.  With a Name Like Love by Tess Hilmo
8.  The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
9.  Bestest.Ramadan.Ever by Medeia Sharif
10. Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma
11. The Death Cure by James Dashner

There were some amazing books published this past year! Have you read any of these? Or any other books published in 2011 not mentioned here? What books are you looking forward to in 2012?

I should have participated in this! Finally a reading challenge I could have kept up with. lol

Great job finishing. I know a lot of the authors on that list. Funny to be blogging with them. So nice, too!

Well, I critiqued Universe from the time it was an infant until right before it was searching for an agent to swaddle it. The Hating Game, Bestest.Ramadan.Ever, Possession, and With a Name Like Love, by my pal Tess. Some of your other choices too. You and I have been in the same worlds and we didn't know it!

Love your picks. And love you supported the writers in our circle. You rock! (((hugs))) Will you read my book when it comes out? Some day? *waving*

Right now I'm just excited to read the next Wimpy Kid. I bought it the day it was released but am saving it for a snow day.

As for your comment on post. I had to delete the entire post but, the hits weren't good. They were mostly spammer sites.

Cheers and Boogie Boogie.

A great list going on, I see some familiar names on it. I like that idea, and will have to work on 12 in '12 for my own reading list!

This year my read list is rather small, but most of the books on your list are on my TBR and sitting around gathering dust waiting for me.

Entwined by Heather Dixon was great. Ali Cross' Become, too. I've read several on your list, but I really liked Elana's.

I read 5 of your 11, and a few more 2011 books. I really enjoyed Divergent. Hourglass and The Near Witch were good.

Great list! I really need to start keeping track of what I read. I read several of those (and loved them!) and a few more 2011s as well :)

I haven't quite gotten to all of those, but every single one is on my list. I'm reading Possession right now.

Across the Universe and The Liar Society are two books that I am still itching to read. So many great novels, so little time. : )

I've only read ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, and am just starting IMAGINARY GIRLS. There are a lot on this list that I'd like to read, however!

I read Possession my Elana Johnson, and it was pretty good. :)

This year I'm participating in the debut author challenge, but I'm not sure where to find a list of debut authors. We'll see what happens.

Oh, and you deserve that pat on the back. It's hard to find a lot of time to read! *pat pat*

oops...BY Elana Johnson, not MY Elana Johnson. HaHa!

I have Build a Man on my Kindle for PC.

Good for you, Susan! I think it's really cool you hit eleven books published in 2011. AUDITION by Stasia Ward Kehoe is great. It came out in October. Not only is it gorgeously written, but it's the first book I've ever been acknowledged in! :) I feel so honored.

I read many 2011 books, although I have many unread ones in my pile.

I read your 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10. And thank you for including my book. :)
