Well, that break went on much longer than I'd planned. I went on vacation last week, so I decided to wait until after vacation to return. It's so good to be back! I can't wait to come around and visit all your blogs and see what I've been missing!
I'll leave you with a few pictures from our vacation to California.
We visited San Francisco, Napa, and Lake Tahoe. The first two photos are from Lake Tahoe, the third is a view of Alcatraz in San Francisco.

Great pics! Glad you had a great vacation and welcome back to Blogland. We did some local weekend stays but that's about it. There's enough to do in our area to keep us happy, but it would be nice to do an extended stay out of state.
Beautiful pics! Makes me homesick. I'm a Bay Area girl! I was out there this summer and will go back again in October. And we used to camp in Tahoe every summer when I was a kid... ah, good times.
Lovely pics! I haven't been to the west coast since I was a toddler and my grandma lived in Anaheim.
We went to the Finger Lakes in New York and an amusement park in northern PA. Wish we could have been away longer than a week...

My family went to California over spring break, although not to the same places. We went to Hollywood and Catalina. What a beautiful state it is! I hope to go back some day and see some of the places you visited!

I grew up in the Bay Area and was sent to summer camp every year in Tahoe...so those pictures are very familiar. I can almost smell the air from those pictures.
We went to Disney (and HP world) for 2 weeks and spent a couple long weekends at the shore. Might even go again this weekend...

I went to ALA in New Orleans and SCBWI in LA, so both were work related. It was nice to be out of town, though.

I signed with an agent a couple weeks ago, so that's what I've been up to-- editing, editing, editing ... getting ready for submissions. Crazy and fun all at once. I'm still slightly floored that it actually happened!

Love the pictures! My in-laws live only a couple hours from Tahoe and all the extended family lives in The Bay area, so my favorite parts of visiting them are the trips to those two places. :o) (Notice I didn't say seeing them. lol)
